Have you completed your AST 2, but still feel like there’s more to learn about backcountry travel. Don’t worry, we feel the same way too. We’ve created a a course that will fortify the skills you learned in your Avalanche Safety Training Level one and two. In a small group environment, you will develop professional decision-making, communication and terrain movement skills. We’ll also cover advanced companion rescue techniques.
We’ll put you into unfamiliar and big terrain where students will make big decisions. Class size will be small 4-6 students. Each day the group will decide where to go and what to do. Expect to break trail, get coached along the way and learn how to communicate with your backcountry partners to maximize the fun meter.
