The Lofoten Islands Backcountry skiing and Splitboarding Experience is a small group backcountry skiing / split-boarding experience in Norway’s Lofoten Islands.

March is the prime time for skiing in Lofoten, as winter transitions into spring. With the long arctic light, you’ll enjoy a panoramic juxtaposition of mountain and ocean views. There’s a good chance you’ll get to see the mesmerizing northern lights too.
A comfortable house will be the base for the trip. Each day, we’ll embark on thrilling ski tours across the region. Due to an excellent road network, we’ll have endless options for starting our ski days. Expect daily drives to different fjords, where we’ll ascend the surrounding mountains for unforgettable ski tours and descents.

We choose to stay in comfortable land-based accommodations and use a boat to access remote access ski and splitboard terrain to optimize our guests’ experience. There are also car accessed venues to explore when stormy weather sets in.
