International Backcountry Trips
The Lofoten Islands Backcountry skiing and Splitboarding Experience is a small group backcountry skiing / split-boarding experience in Norway’s Lofoten Islands. We provide comfortable accommodations, a private cook, farm to table meals, hot tub, boat accessed backcountry skiing and splitboarding and ACMG certified guiding, for groups of up to six people.
Situated at 68 degrees north, the Lofoten Islands provide incredible scenery and an unparalleled ski and splitboard experience. Come discover a truly a unique trip for you and your friends.
The Southern Andes are prime for backcountry skiing and splitboarding in Chile’s Araucania region . A blend of epic backcountry tours, small towns, national parks, volcanos and aguas termales (hot springs) and comfortable accommodations make this tour an incredible adventure. Both of the itineraries we offer allow for the option to do an exploratory traverse or basecamp if trip participants are interested and the conditions permit.

-Lodging-We stay at locally run establishments that are clean, comfortable and distinctly Chilean. Accommodations are based on double occupancy, if you’d like private accommodations, we can arrange that for you for an additional fee.
-Food is a personal choice, we prefer to let you choose what you’d like to eat rather than offer a fixed menu.
-Transportation (4×4 vehicle)
-One visit to local hot springs. (More hot spring trips can be arranged at an additional cost.)
-Tailgate après when appropriate—it’s always nice to enjoy a cold beverage after a long day in the mountains.
While this is a backcountry ski and splitboard adventure, we make sure you get to enjoy Chilean food and culture. For the backcountry enthusiast who likes to travel, backcountry skiing in Chile is an incredible adventure.
Golden, BC is optimally situated for backcountry skiing and splitboarding; with three mountain ranges within an hour’s drive, it doesn’t get much better. Join us for an incredible town based backcountry ski camp. Rogers Pass, the Rockies and the Purcells have tons of backcountry ski terrain. The beauty of basing out of Golden, is we are virtually equidistant to all of the backcountry zones. This means if its dumping, we can ride near Golden. If its clear and the stability is good, we can head to the Rockies and explore some ski mountaineering objectives. Rogers Pass is always an option too!
Lyngen backcountry skiing is a special affair. The Lyngen Alps are one of the premier ski destinations in the world. Situated at 69 degrees north, 350 km north of the Arctic Circle, the Lyngen Alps, provide incredible ski conditions well into the month of May. Long days, incredible terrain and spectacular views of the fjords are just part of what makes this destination so special. Late April and early May provide better weather, 18 hours of daylight and a well settled snowpack; a prefect recipe for maximizing your ski backcountry ski experience.
Join our Valhalla basecamp. The Valhallas are Alps of the Kootenays, yielding panoramic views and lots of vertical relief. Towering north walls provide sheltered, steep, north aspect skiing deep into Spring; making the Valhallas a prime ski mountaineering destination.
