Northern Monashees Basecamp

Northern Monashees BasecampNorth of Revelstoke, on the west side of the Columbia River lie the Monashee Mountains.  Massive glaciated peaks coated in snow and ice make for an incredible winter playground.  Our northern Monashees basecamp is placed for direct access to incredible backcountry ski terrain.  Basecamps are an incredible way to experience backcountry skiing in a remote location with a daypack. The beauty of these basecamps is the hard work is done for you, all that is left is to go shred.  Once we get dropped off in a remote backcountry location, we’ll hardly hear any other sort of activity except the wildlife.  We’ll spend a few hours setting up camp and doing an avalanche safety briefing and then we’ll have the rest of the time to explore the zone.
