I grew up in New Hampshire and have been skiing since I was two years old. The call of the wild and the pursuit of deep powder snow brought me to British Columbia.  I rolled out here in a camperized and vegetable oil powered 1982 240D Mercedes Benz to fulfill my powder dreams.  Needless to say, I’ve grown up a fair bit since then; however, I am still a ski bum at heart.

From Tuckerman’s Ravine, my first ski touring experience, to Baffin Island, Kyrgyzstan, Chile, Argentina, Rogers Pass, the Canadian Rockies and now the Slocan Valley, I’ve chased the unturned turn. Over the years, I have gained knowledge both from the mountains and mentors.  I’ve pursued education too, from the Canadian Avalanche Association, who certified me as a Level 2 Avalanche Forecaster, and the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides, who certified me as a Ski Guide and the University of New Hampshire where I received a Bachelor’s Degree in French.  If you come skiing with me, I hope to share some of that knowledge with you.

I am passionate about exploring and adventuring through winter wonderlands and enjoy spending long days in the mountains.  Adventure should be fun, but most importantly, it should be safe.  When it comes to a guest’s experience with me, my goal is to provide fun, safe, enjoyable days in the mountains that will leave you plenty to talk about at apres-ski.
